“Miss & Mr. Grand Sea World®” stands as a prestigious annual international beauty pageant, authorized, conceptualized, and orchestrated by MMSEA BG Ltd.
Among the grandest beauty pageants globally, “Miss & Mr. Grand Sea World®” emerged from humble beginnings. Initially established in 1994 by a former top model from Colombia, the competition bore the name “Miss and Mr. Pacific Universe.”
In 1998, it transformed into “Miss and Mister Sea Universe,” relocating its base from Colombia to Peru. A pivotal moment arose in 2012 when a Bulgarian delegation, under the leadership of Mr. Chavdar Arsov, astoundingly dominated the contest, securing multiple top positions. Inspired by this triumph, our delegation put forth a bid to host the event.
Early in 2013, once again led by Mr. Chavdar Arsov, the Bulgarian delegation clinched titles in the “Miss and Mister” competition. This feat marked a turning point, as Bulgarian representatives Mina Popova and Teodor Todorov claimed the coveted ‘Miss’ and ‘Mister’ crowns, upending expectations set by the Brazilian delegation.
Midway through 2013, concerns regarding the organization by the Peruvian management of the competition prompted Mr. Arsov to sever ties. He determined that MMSEA BG Ltd. would continue the legacy of the contest independently.
In 2014, the event embraced a new identity as “Miss & Mr. Grand Sea World®” and relocated its headquarters from Peru to the historic city of Sofia, Bulgaria. A significant milestone arrived in 2015, as Europe hosted the competition for the first time. From June 22 to 28, Bulgaria transformed into a global hub of intercontinental beauty, welcoming participants from over 25 countries across various age categories.
Sofia and Plovdiv became the stages where children, teenagers, men, and women from diverse continents showcased their talents, competing in numerous rounds. With this, the Miss & Mr. Grand Sea World family grew, bound by a shared commitment to excellence and beauty.
